What is this workshop about?

Creative Quests is a Margate based organisation. They are planning a month of community-focused happenings and explorations in 2025 that will celebrate the amazing creativity of Margate. Turning the streets into a playground for everybody.

Creative Quests want to imagine the possibilities of this project with you! Join us at this ’Theme Dreaming’ workshop to engage in some playful explorations, and let’s imagine together.

In this 2 hour workshop you will:

  • Hear a short talk from Creative Quests founder Sam Furness on what it means to live a curiosity-fuelled life, and why our world needs creativity more than ever.
  • Play some creative games that inspire connection and conversation.
  • Respond to some simple prompts that will encourage you to explore your surroundings in creative ways.
  • Be guided through our ’Theme Dreaming’ exercise – where we will imagine different ways we could collectively explore our creativity in Margate.
  • Refreshments will be available

Your hosts:

Sam Furness: Sam is founder of Channel Twelve. They design experiences that guide people to playfully explore their creativity and curiosity. Through programmes such as Creative Quests, Sam helps people to increase creative confidence, expand perspectives and connect with the world around us. @saaamfurness
